This Independence Day, we went to Foster City to watch the fireworks display. Although we were ill-prepared(we didn't have enough blankets), the fireworks was still worth it.
One of the most irritating things in the world is an over-excited fellow audience. This guy beside us was exlaiming, "Yeah, baby!! Dynamite!!! Boom! Boom! Give me more!!! Whoah!!! Did you see that? Did you see that? Dynamite, baby!"
Yes, the fireworks display was really exciting. It is both funny and rude to be that noisy even at a fireworks display.
I remember when the last Harry Potter movie came out. We sat in line to see it first on iMax in San Francisco when it premiered. Luck of all lucks, we got to sit right in front of the most fanatic Harry Potter fan in the world. He would talk to Harry Potter! "Oh no, Harry. You got the worst dragon...... Watch out, Harry. Right behind you!" Did he really think Harry Potter can hear him from his seat at the theater?
Overzealous fans are everywhere. There are some people in Cebu who would warn Fernando Poe that his enemy is about to shoot him from behind. And cheer on him as he beats up all the goons.
I feel bad for those people. Maybe they don't know that they are talking out loud. I shudder to think that I might have been done that at some point and not know it. Yay!
