Finally! Proof of me eating a piece of leaf. I had a bunch of leaves, some sauce and cheese on a plate. Other people like to call it a Caesar salad.
Not that it matters, but I always imagined a Roman imperor liked this salad and it was named after them. As in 'fit for an emperor', although I would imagine emperors would like meat more than a bunch of leaves. Anyway, I found out, its not named after Julius or Augustus Caesar. It's after Caesar Cardini, an Italian Chef in Tijuana.
As for Julius Caesar's favorite food? I don't know yet. But I'll find out.
