I have learned quite a bit of colorful language ever since I moved to America. Even more so when I was working for one of the local startup companies, where cussing was not something out of the ordinary. In fact, it was almost an art form.
I admit, I have said more than a couple of bad words in my entire lifetime. The one time that I really wanted to say some bad words was when I was giving birth. But my in-laws were right by the door and I was willing to close my mouth for once and not say some seriously bad words despite the pain.
That little guy I was giving birth to? He is now a highly intelligent toddler. He learns things so fast, it is almost scary. We imposed a "no bad words" policy within hearing distance of the JellyBean. Not only do we not want him to learn those things, it also helps to keep a calmer, more pleasant atmosphere.
I know of a baby who was in an environment where everyone was very loose with bad language. His first word? "Yawa" - a very bad word in Bisaya.

I don't know what you are talking about :) Aidan's language is quite colorful - used very appropriately too. I think its pretty hilarious.
Somehow I'm not that surprised. I'd love to meet Aidan. Maybe this winter at Tahoe? I miss you guys!
