Death in April

What is it with April and death?

Recently, there have been so much death in the news: the massacre at Virgina Tech, Julia Campbell; and the seven men that the Abu Sayyaff decapitated. What is happening?

April seems to be a month with lots of death: The Oklahoma bombing was in April. The death March in Bataan was in April. Even Magellan died in April.
